In May 2010 Zolciak met Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann at the charity event Dancing With Atlanta Stars.
Their meeting was later shown on season 3 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. On November 22, 2010, Kim Zolciak confirmed that she was pregnant, by her boyfriend Kroy Biermann. On May 31, 2011 Kim and Kroy announced the birth of their son Kroy Jagger Biermann, Jr On October 11, 2011 Kim Zolciak announced her engagement to Kroy Biermann via Twitter. Zolciak has two daughters from a previous marriage.
