The Band Perry’s Big Night At their first time attending The Country Music Association Awards as nominees, The Band Perry had three big reasons to celebrate.  The country trio took home honors for new artist of the year, single of the year and song of the year for their hit single “If I Die Young” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The Band Perry, an American country music group, is composed of siblings Kimberly Perry as lead vocals, guitar and piano, Reid Perry on bass guitar, background vocals and Neil Perry on mandolin, drums, accordion and background vocals.  They claim Greeneville, Tennessee, as their hometown and currently live there with the rest of their family.Kimberly was born in 1983 (age 28), Reid in 1988 (age 23), and Neil in 1990 (age 21).

“We have six pairs of fingers crossed,” Kimberly Perry said on the red carpet before their heart-and-soulful ballad swept.

The Band Perry‘s second single, “If I Die Young”,  which Kimberly wrote single-handedly, is The Band Perry‘s smash hit. The song snatched up trophies for both Single of the Year and Song of the Year at the 45th annual CMA Awards.

“If I Die Young” and “Hip to My Heart” are included on the band’s self-titled debut album, released on October 12, 2010. The album was produced by Paul Worley and Nathan Chapman.  “If I Die Young” has reached number one on the country music charts, and number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The lovely big sister and her charming brothers Neil and Reid took to the stage and shared the appreciation for their fans : “I wanna thank the fans of country music again; your stories have changed our lives. “
